Learning for Life was established in 2002, initially focusing on remedial education. As our understanding and expertise grew, we expanded our services to include child counselling and parent guidance.
Today, we also offer adult counselling and a range of training programmes, reflecting our commitment to comprehensive support for individuals and families.

Meet the founder and her beautiful family
Our founder, Lourindi Nel, is the heart and soul of Learning for Life. Happily married and a mother to a 17-year-old, a 9-year-old, and 5-year-old twins, Lourindi has personally navigated the joys and challenges of neurodivergence, fostering and adoption.
Her family’s experiences have deeply influenced her passion for helping children, adults, and families in distress to regain their footing and continue steadily on a path of growth.
