Do you feel like no matter what you try, your child’s behavior spins out of control at the drop of a hat?

  • Mornings are a battle—brushing teeth, getting dressed, or leaving the house ends in tears.

  • Meltdowns seem to come out of nowhere, and nothing you do seems to calm your child.

  • After school, they fall apart, refusing to talk, listen, or follow even simple requests.

You’re not alone. These challenges are often rooted in sensory sensitivity—an invisible struggle that affects how children experience the world.

As a parent raising sensory-sensitive children, I understand how overwhelming this can feel. That’s why I created this workshop: to bridge the gap between understanding sensory sensitivity and managing it effectively in everyday life.

What is Sensory Sensitivity?

Sensory sensitivity occurs when a child’s nervous system processes sensory input (like sounds, touch, smell or movement) differently, making ordinary experiences feel overwhelming—or underwhelming.

Key Signs Your Child May Be Sensory Sensitive:

  • Over-Sensitivity: Easily overwhelmed by sounds, textures, smells or busy environments; avoids new activities.

  • Hypo-Sensitivity: Seeks constant stimulation, like jumping, spinning, or touching objects.

  • Interoceptive Challenges: Struggles with potty training or recognizing hunger, thirst, temperature or fatigue.

Why Your Child's Sensory Challenges Affect Behaviour

Sensory sensitivity doesn’t just lead to physical discomfort—it also impacts emotional regulation, behaviour, and relationships.

  • Overwhelming transitions, like bedtime or leaving the house, can trigger meltdowns.

  • Overloaded sensory systems result in big emotions and dysregulation that seem unprovoked, disproportional or uncontrollable.

  • Constant sensory seeking or avoidance leaves children feeling misunderstood and emotionally drained.

This workshop will help you connect the dots between sensory input and behavior, empowering you with tools to help your child—and yourself—navigate these challenges.

Hi there,
my name is Lourindi

As a mom of four and a professional with over 20 years of experience supporting families, I know firsthand the challenges that sensory sensitivities can bring into a home. I’ve navigated this journey both personally and professionally, and the information I share in this workshop comes from my desire to simplify things for parents like you. I believe in easy-to-do, practical strategies that can consistently bring calm to the chaos.

I've learned that by supporting parents, we naturally support children, and the wellbeing of one is deeply connected to the other!

It’s my greatest joy and passion to see the joy of parenting return to homes! This inspired the creation of our first workshops, and it's been growing ever since. Helping parents like you with compassionate guidance and practical tools is what I love. Through these workshops, I provide insights to bring more calm, connection, and understanding to your family life.

Join me as we explore the dynamics of parenting your sensory-sensitive kiddo and discover strategies that can transform your parenting journey.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
